Producer Supports
Market Umbrella strives to offer opportunities through and beyond the farmers market for local fishers, farmers, and value-added businesses to increase the sustainability of their businesses. To this end, our producer supports encompass:
Value Chain Coordination
Connecting to and creating sales avenues outside of or adjacent to the market to diversify producer revenue streams, including the CCFM home delivery box, farm to school procurement, and cultivating wholesale relationships.
Technical Assistance
Offering classes, trainings, and field days presented by Market Umbrella and our partners on topics of interest for local food businesses and agricultural producers.
Beginning Farmer and Rancher Development
Supporting the next generation of small-scale agricultural producers with training and networking opportunities.
Small Business Development
Assisting existing and prospective vendors with navigating the process of becoming a business, complying with regulations, developing and marketing a brand, obtaining certifications that facilitate growth, etc.
