Greaux the Good
Good for Farmers, Good for Families.
Greaux the Good gives Louisiana direct-to-consumer food purveyors (such as farmers markets, farm stands, and CSAs) the opportunity to create or expand a Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) nutrition incentive program.
Greaux the Good provides food producers administrative and financial support to both accept and incentivize purchases made with SNAP/EBT or FMNP. Nutrition incentive programs attract high-need shoppers to local foodways and empowers them to purchase more fresh foods directly from local producers. This mutual exchange between farmers and the community positively impacts the state's agricultural economy and increases local food access.
Farmers markets and other eligible entities interested in being a Market Match partner with Greaux the Good should complete the interest form to begin the process. To learn more about the program and current partners, click here to visit Greaux the Good’s website.
