Pearl River Pastures is Joining the
Tuesday Uptown Market

We’re excited to announce that Pearl River Pastures will be joining the Tuesday Uptown Market on an every other week basis, beginning next week, January 30. You’ll want to take a peek inside their trailer to see their offerings of heritage grass-fed beef, forest raised pork and beef including sausage and bacon, pastured eggs, and chicken! Their mission is to provide access to nutrient-dense meat and eggs produced with integrity and transparency to the communities of the Gulf South while maintaining the highest animal welfare standards and leaving the land better than before. Pearl River Pastures is a regenerative partnership between Rob Harrison, owner of Sunset Oaks Farm of Picayune, Mississippi, and Summers White, the owner of Juniper Creek Farm of Poplarville, Mississippi. Each farm is family-owned, operated, and bucking conventional thinking by stepping away from industrial, chemical, and pesticide-based agriculture that degrades the land.

Paw Paw’s Donuts - Paw Paw's Donuts is a small bakery pop-up that specializes in making custard-filled brioche donuts. Named after their late Paw Paw, who would always wake up before dawn on Sundays to fetch donuts for the whole family to enjoy together. Like Paw Paw once did, they now wake up before dawn to meticulously hand craft every single donut so that you can enjoy them perfectly fresh. They always make an effort to source ingredients locally whenever possible. Their ultimate goal is to use their passion for donuts to bring you together with the people you love most. Catch them at the Sunday City Park and Thursday Mid-City.!

J&D Blueberry Farm - Jeff Brown and Don van der Werken of J&D Blueberry Farm in Poplarville MS have been in the blueberry business since 2004! After their blueberries flourished in the climate, they also planted camellias from which they make their loose leaf teas.Today in addition to bulk blueberries, J&D offers a variety of baked goods, jams and jellies, teas and cold drinks. Come visit them at the Sunday City Park market!
