You can find everything from marinated feta, to cheesecake, to farm-fresh eggs at Huckleberry Creamery’s table. Established in 2019, Huckleberry’s Creamery is a Louisiana Certified dairy farm based in Franklinton, Louisiana. They produce a creamy array of goat cheeses with flavors ranging from buffalo to honey cranberry. They also carry creole cream cheese, a traditional New Orleans farmer's cheese, at their table! Goat’s milk has often been sought out for its health benefits as it contains less lactose, and smaller fat globules, and is richer in protein - than traditional cow’s milk. It’s also delicious! Goat cheese is a great addition to salads, pizza, pasta, or any dish. Find Huckleberry’s Creamery at our Sunday and Thursday markets, or any time you hear us mention baby goats! Be sure to stay tuned for the addition of corn grits and cornmeal to their table.
